Argenta’s Inspection Department benefits from consistent processes & increased performance with Pentana

Argenta, a Belgian banking and insurance group with more than 500 branches, needed to improve the efficiency of its Inspection team, which was conducting one-day branch visits using paper forms, Excel and Word. The reliance on manual, paper-based processes meant no centralized reporting, no weighted risk library and significant rework that hurt productivity and consistency.

Argenta implemented Ideagen Pentana with support from partner Sepia Solutions to digitize inspections, create a central risk library, deploy around 30 templates, enable bilingual use and automate notifications and reporting. The change delivered consistent, risk‑based scoping and follow-up, allowed objective measurement of incidents and recidivism, and increased inspection output by about 50% while substantially reducing rework and manual tasks.
