Argenta Bank‑en Verzekeringsgroep, a Belgian banking and insurance group serving 1.6 million customers and running about 25 audits a year, faced fragmented, paper‑based internal audit processes. Audit documentation was scattered across Word, Excel and an unstable Access database on a shared network drive, making records hard to find, inconsistent and unsuitable for analysis or risk follow‑up.

Argenta worked with Ideagen’s local partner Sepia Solutions to implement and configure Pentana to their exact requirements, completing a complex rollout in under seven months. The move to Pentana made audits paperless, improved visibility and collaboration with Risk and Compliance, enabled continuous tracking of recommendations and loss events, reduced audit time and storage costs, and delivered better reporting and risk analysis.
