The YMCA of Greater Seattle, a nonprofit founded in 1876 with more than 3,000 employees across 13 branches and 200+ program sites, faced a fragmented recruiting process driven by 300 decentralized hiring managers. iCIMS provided dedicated support to simplify the mobile application (removing unnecessary fields and using dropdowns), restructure hiring-manager access to centralize workflows and prevent compliance issues, and integrate automated reference checking with Checkster. As a result, mobile completions rose from 10% to 23%, application time fell from 30 minutes to 3 minutes, incomplete applications dropped by 54%, and recruiters saved up to an hour per candidate on references—boosting productivity and adoption across the organization.
