National Church Residences is a 3,500-employee nonprofit and the nation’s largest not-for-profit developer and manager of affordable senior housing, with 330+ communities. The organization lacked an applicant tracking and onboarding system, had little internet presence, and could not track candidates or communications consistently across locations, which hindered hiring manager adoption, compliance, and speed of onboarding.

They implemented the iCIMS Talent Platform and iCIMS Onboard for a user-friendly, searchable system with job-board posting (including Indeed). The solution standardized onboarding, cut paper, streamlined recruiter–manager–candidate communication with templates, enabled candidate sharing and EEO tracking, and sped new hires into payroll — applications rose from about 400 to 1,300 per month (roughly triple), with 50% coming from Indeed.
