Case Study: Infirmary Health System achieves streamlined, data-driven recruiting with iCIMS

A iCIMS Case Study

Preview of the Infirmary Health System Case Study

How one of Alabama’s largest employers treats healthcare recruiting in a challenging market

Infirmary Health, a Mobile, Alabama–based health system with five hospitals, several clinics and about 6,000 employees, handles more than one million patient visits and hires roughly 1,400 people a year. Faced with a legacy hiring platform (HealthcareSource) that had a poor interface and weak reporting, the organization needed better visibility into hiring metrics and more effective candidate communications—especially for bedside nurses and newly integrated physician offices—during a challenging market and the pandemic.

Infirmary moved to iCIMS’ Applicant Tracking System and Text Engagement to provide dashboards and complex reports (time-to-fill, open/filled requisitions, retention) that inform executive decisions, and to give applicants a more intuitive application experience. Texting has streamlined interview reminders, follow-ups, background and drug-test notices, and digital paperwork, improving recruiter and hiring manager workflows and enabling faster, data-driven hiring during critical periods.
