Paramount Residential Mortgage Group (PRMG) is a Corona, CA–based mortgage lender founded in 2001 that serves underserved communities and has grown to about 2,700 employees across 250 locations. Rapid expansion exposed limitations in its legacy applicant-tracking approach—branch managers relied on spreadsheets, offers were drafted in Word, and reporting was manual—so PRMG needed a scalable talent-acquisition platform to make hiring faster and more consistent.
In 2019 PRMG implemented iCIMS (applicant tracking, offer management, and onboarding) to automate resume parsing, offer generation, approvals, and onboarding workflows, with new-hire data flowing into Microsoft Dynamics GP. The results: application time dropped from 45 to 5 minutes (an 88% reduction), applicants per month rose by about 50%, offer creation fell from ~45–60 minutes to 5–10 minutes (≈83% faster), and hiring capacity doubled from ~125 to 250 hires per month during the pandemic surge.
