London Borough of Harrow needed to bring recruitment in-house after more than a decade of using an agency, while also making hiring more accessible for under-represented candidates across its diverse community. It turned to iCIMS for a simplified applicant tracking and onboarding solution that could support a large number of hiring managers and improve the candidate experience.

Using iCIMS, Harrow introduced an easy-apply process with candidate anonymity and a more scalable onboarding workflow. The results were significant: time to apply dropped from 45 minutes to just over 7 minutes, onboarding fell from 10 days to 10 minutes, and the council hired 500 staff while saving hiring managers hours of manual work each week.
