HSE, a large integrated oil and gas company operating 20+ platforms in the Gulf of Mexico (≈100–150 flights and >7,000 passenger movements per month), faced significant gaps in safety compliance, personnel-on-board (PoB) tracking and validation of travel/training documents — issues made urgent after a 2008 rotary-wing accident and the adoption of an Escape Window Passenger Compatibility (EWPC) dispatch process. IBS Software was engaged to provide a solution using its iLogistics Aviation and PoB module to introduce the processes and tools HSE lacked.

IBS Software configured iLogistics to enforce EWPC during manifesting, automate No Fly List and drug-test validations, add kiosk check-in and travel/training document validation, and deliver real-time PoB visibility plus operational reporting. The implementation produced optimized booking/seat planning and dispatch, stronger regulatory compliance, reduced accident-related costs and improved evacuation readiness — driving increased safety and, according to the customer, zero loss of time or life along with measurable KPIs for auditing and analytics.
