Case Study: PureFluent boosts translation efficiency with IBM Social Business

A IBM Social Business Case Study

Preview of the PureFluent Case Study

Connecting to partners and customers through the cloud for enhanced productivity

PureFluent, a fast-growing translation services company serving customers in more than 20 countries, needed a better way to manage document sharing, version control, and customer-requested changes across a network of hundreds of freelance translators. The company was spending too much time handling uneditable file formats, email attachments, and FTP-based review workflows. IBM Social Business provided the collaboration and document management tools PureFluent needed, including IBM Connections Cloud and IBM Verse.

Working with IBM Business Partner Artriom, PureFluent implemented IBM Connections Cloud and later IBM Verse to streamline collaboration, file sharing, email management, and calendaring for its global team. The solution gave employees, translators, and customers easy cloud-based access to shared workspaces and guest accounts, improving version control and speeding up reviews. According to PureFluent, IBM Connections Cloud saves project managers significant time, cuts the effort needed to allocate and manage projects, and helps deliver faster, more responsive customer service.
