The Henry Ford, a museum with over 26 million artifacts that attracts roughly 1.7 million on-site and 3 million online visitors annually, was digitizing much of its collection to serve a global audience. Its website is mission-critical, but the legacy single-server Windows 2000 environment lacked redundancy and scalability, risking downtime for thousands of visitors and limiting multimedia initiatives.
