How Docapost Grew Its Reach on Social Media with Employee Advocacy

Docapost, a 5,000‑employee IT subsidiary of France’s La Poste serving some 23,000 companies, wanted to boost brand recognition by unlocking the value of employees’ social networks. The challenge was to scale reach and engagement while keeping content on‑brand and easy for staff to share.

By adding Hootsuite Amplify to its Hootsuite Enterprise setup, Docapost built a volunteer ambassador program with curated topic feeds, training, and support that encouraged personal content creation. The program reached an 86% adoption rate, averaged about 213 shares per ambassador, generated over 16,000 social shares and reached roughly 10 million internet users, while strengthening employees’ social skills and enabling future social selling.
