The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) is a 17,000‑member professional organization supporting practitioners in a rapidly evolving field. Facing low renewal rates and members’ struggles to keep up with new therapies and technologies, SNMMI relied on generic “we miss you” outreach and was reluctant to adopt unfamiliar marketing tools—leaving lapsed members disengaged and a clear need for a targeted re‑engagement strategy.
Working with Higher Logic, SNMMI deployed marketing automation using member personas, compound targeting, and four automated workflows that sent tailored messages and repurposed proven email content to hot prospects. In 60 days the campaign drove 237 total renewals (150 directly attributed, 87 indirectly influenced), 115 renewals from the automated workflows, and $28,206 in reinstatement revenue—equipping SNMMI with repeatable processes, analytics, and skills to sustain future recruitment and renewal efforts.
