Engineers Australia, the national body for engineering, needed a secure, dedicated place for its 120,000+ members to connect, share advice, and exchange resources instead of using scattered LinkedIn groups, chats, emails, and WhatsApp threads. Working with Higher Logic Thrive Community, EA Exchange, they also needed a way to verify that participants were confirmed engineers.

Higher Logic implemented a private community integrated with Engineers Australia’s Oracle database to verify members and centralize discussions and resource sharing. The result was a more secure, easier-to-manage community for a small team, with stronger engagement, better volunteer and resource management, and a major increase in member activity and daily content sharing.
