A Higher Logic Case Study
The American Association of Endodontists (AAE) is the professional association and global resource for endodontists, using ACGI as its member database. After their original online community closed in 2019 due to unmanaged negativity and unclear enforcement of guidelines, AAE needed a safer, more constructive virtual space where members could network, learn, and support one another.
Working with Higher Logic’s Community, Communications, and Strategic Services, AAE relaunched with a member-centric plan that updated moderation (including a revised three-strike policy), refreshed the UI, added a blogging program, and conducted a listening tour to align goals with member needs. The relaunch — starting with a COVID-19–focused hub for case studies and safety guidance — produced an integrated, moderated community that revitalized member engagement and prioritized health and professional connection.
