Bitdefender needed a way to improve retention, reduce support costs, and strengthen customer relationships through its Expert Community. After relaunching the community with Higher Logic, Bitdefender used its existing communication channels and Higher Logic Vanilla to drive awareness, but needed to turn the community into a more active, valuable support and engagement hub.
Higher Logic helped Bitdefender grow community participation by encouraging staff and users to engage, recognizing contributors, and surfacing customer insights. The results included exponential community growth in 2022, increased traffic and engagement, organic search lift, and a stronger support buffer that reduced pressure on the support team. Bitdefender also gained ongoing product feedback and saw the community become a positive differentiator in product reviews.
