The New Mexico Association of School Business Officials (NMASBO) is the state’s trusted source for school business management and professional development, using YourMembership as its AMS. When the COVID-19 pandemic ended in-person events, NMASBO found its AMS-built community wasn’t user-friendly enough to sustain member engagement or replace the spontaneous connections that had occurred at workshops and conferences.

NMASBO migrated to Higher Logic Community in August 2020 and launched a virtual event strategy within two months, offering an easy-to-use, integrated platform with email-based replies and single sign-on. Adoption surged: in eight months 850+ unique members logged in and members made 4,500 content contributions (compared with just 10–15 occasional contributors previously), while staff benefited from a smoother, consolidated management experience.
