Cargill, a global food, agriculture, financial, and industrial company, needed a faster, more scalable way to expand its online presence internationally. The company wanted to standardize on Oracle WebCenter Sites, but lacked in-house expertise, faced aggressive deployment timelines, and preferred a hosted solution with a single vendor and contract. HGS Digital provided the product and implementation support needed to help Cargill move forward with confidence.

HGS Digital delivered a fully hosted and managed Oracle WebCenter Sites solution on Amazon Web Services, starting with a discovery workshop and then using a sprint-based delivery model with training and UAT throughout the project. The team launched a pilot site for Cargill.de and then enabled a “clone and launch” approach that helped Cargill scale to 68 live properties on the cloud platform. As a result, Cargill reduced time to deployment, avoided hiring new application experts, improved consistency across sites, and benefited from managed services and 24/7 monitoring with reduced TCO.
