Leading International Insuring Company faced a highly fragmented global HR landscape with over 130 country-based systems, disparate processes, rising operational costs and audit concerns. To address this, the company engaged Hexaware as its strategic HR-IT partner, leveraging Hexaware’s HR-IT Takeout services and HCM expertise with platforms such as PeopleSoft (US Payroll/HCM) and Workday HCM to drive consolidation and modernization.

Hexaware implemented payroll consolidation (five locations / ~5,600 employees into a single US Payroll/PeopleSoft), rolled out and integrated Workday HCM globally, and provided ongoing application management services via an onsite-offshore model and 24/7 support. As a result, Hexaware delivered a single view of HR operations, improved application stability and faster releases, and measurable gains: HR FTE/employee ratio improved from 1:62 to 1:100+, HR headcount reduced from 985 to 600 (39% cost reduction), HR cost per employee fell ~40% to ~$1,800, about 87% of legacy HR systems were retired, and administrative HR time dropped from 78% to 40%.
