A Hexaware Case Study
Leading Rail Operator in Europe faced inconsistent quality and high QA costs due to decentralized testing, multiple siloed tools, poor governance, duplicated effort and unclear responsibilities. Hexaware was engaged to provide Digital Assurance and testing transformation support, leveraging its Test Advisory and Consulting Council (TACC) and test automation capabilities to assess and restructure the client’s QA practices.
Hexaware implemented a centralized Test Factory, tool rationalization (including the Hexaware ONE Adapter) and the Hexaware Automation Framework, plus performance engineering for WebLogic, standardized processes and a metrics-driven governance model. As a result Hexaware automated 98% of regression tests, delivered an 80% reduction in effort to run the regression cycle and a 25% reduction in effort for performance test script preparation, optimized tool license costs and improved test coverage and operational efficiency.
