Leading Australian University, a major institution with nearly 40,000 students (including over 7,000 international students), faced a technology upgrade challenge: its Campus Solutions and HR modules ran on different Oracle DB releases and needed synchronization, Student Financials required major functional changes (HECS codes, liability status), and the university wanted LDAP authentication plus new Thesis and Library modules. Hexaware was engaged to address the Campus Solutions upgrade and integration needs, including moving from PeopleSoft Student Administration v7.6 to a newer Campus Solutions platform.

Hexaware upgraded the environment to Campus Solutions v9.0, applied feature packs and PeopleTools/patches, retrofitted and tested all custom modules, implemented custom Research Student (Thesis Management) and Library modules, and integrated LDAP authentication. To securely synchronize CS and HR without a database link, Hexaware developed an intermediate bridge between the modules, performed system integration testing, and trained university staff. The result was a consolidated, up-to-date Campus Solutions deployment with integrated modules and custom functionality—delivered securely and ready to support the university’s planned extensions.
