Premier Floral and Gifting Company, a North American supplier of floral and gifting products and services, needed to improve customer connect and in‑store experience by expediting sales capture, enabling payments on the move to reduce queues, and leveraging existing IT investments. Hexaware delivered a consumer smartphone device–based solution that included native iOS and Android mobile apps, a uDynamo2 card reader for credit swipes, SSL‑based integration with the credit card API and backend, and SMS/email transaction receipts.
Hexaware’s mobile POS implementation provided a consistent, extensible user experience across platforms and enabled cash and credit payments anywhere in the store, accelerating sales capture and reducing or eliminating queues during peak periods and seasons. The solution reused existing infrastructure to mobile‑enable POS, improved customer service at checkout, and ensured secure transactions and receipt delivery via SMS/email.
