Global Law Firm, a US-based law firm with more than 1,100 attorneys and offices in Europe and Asia, was running PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 on Windows and needed to modernize HR systems to make web applications faster, the user interface more intuitive, and reporting easier. Hexaware was engaged to deliver the upgrade and modernization using PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.59 to leverage new UI, analytics and search capabilities.

Hexaware implemented a two-step upgrade—PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 to 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.49 to 8.59—using AJAX browsing, partial page refreshes, type-ahead search, mouse-over pop pages and express input pages, delivered by combined onsite and offsite teams and covering Core HR, Benefits, Payroll interface, eProfile and eBenefits. As a result, Hexaware enabled use of the latest PeopleSoft features, improved and easier-to-navigate UIs, faster web application performance and increased user efficiency, while ensuring continued support on the upgraded platform.
