Enhanced Testing Process for Top Global Convenience Store Client

Global Convenience Store, a top-ten global convenience retailer founded in 1977 in Monterrey, Mexico and operating around 13,000 stores across Mexico and Latin America, faced legacy systems that blocked integration of new tools and processes. They had no documented test cases or regression library, multiple development providers complicating end-to-end testing, and difficulty implementing accurate testing and change management. Hexaware was engaged to address these testing and BI challenges.

Hexaware implemented an agile testing strategy, established a Test Factory for manual system and integration testing (including Functional, Performance and Automation), provided HP ALM/QC admin support, and delivered BI and analytics consulting. As a result, Hexaware increased test coverage and visibility, reduced defect leakage to production by 10%, achieved 38% savings versus standard market resource costs, optimized costs with on-shore/near-shore delivery, and improved POS defect reduction and test documentation.
