Vital Financial Service, the financial-services arm of a top-ten global automaker, faced escalating costs, long test cycles and heavy IT dependency while renovating its mobile apps for Android and iOS. They needed to manage and track very large test suites, validate payment features (payment, scheduling, reminders) across popular devices, and shift toward automation to improve velocity and maintainability. Hexaware was engaged to provide Digital Assurance (testing) and performance-testing services to address these challenges.

Hexaware implemented a tailored automation and performance-testing program—proposing tools, developing functional and regression test cases, and building a hybrid SeeTest↔QTP/UFT framework with an XML object repository and data-driven test data management—to enable reusable, maintainable scripts. Hexaware executed 15 full performance cycles (Load Peak and Load Endurance) until SLAs were met, delivering lower response times than baseline, improved application stability, corrected payment functionality (Western Union and ePay), a centralized secure test-artifact repository and a reusable regression suite for future releases.
