Design & Development of Single Network Application for Leading Airline in North America

Leading Airline in North America, a major U.S. carrier headquartered in Atlanta, engaged Hexaware to replace complex legacy command-driven systems with an intuitive, next-generation Airport Suite. The airline needed a single, stand-alone application to handle curbside, bag drop, check-in, gates, sky club and baggage services so agents could work faster with less training, provide better customer recognition for high-value travelers, and support continual industry changes.

Hexaware designed and developed the Single Network APPlication (SNAPP) using an onsite-offshore model, a single common code base, SOA interfaces to legacy systems and a web-based interactive UI to streamline agent workflows. Hexaware’s solution automated many frontline tasks (auto-printing and auto-operations), enabled automatic data capture and consistent processes across stations, and delivered measurable improvements — reducing full-service transaction times by 19–34 seconds and bag drop transactions by 7 seconds, while improving maintainability and reporting for data-driven decisions.
