Oranta, Ukraine’s largest insurer operating since 1921, serves over seven million policyholders from 676 offices and more than 10,000 users. Faced with strict regulatory requirements and rising risks from malware, USB and external-device misuse, the company needed a simple, centrally managed platform to control data flow, enforce policies, and meet international security standards like ISO 2700X across a widely distributed network.

Oranta deployed Lumension Application Control and Device Control, using a single client and one administrative console to assign policies, monitor device activity, and enforce encryption. Early results on 500 nodes showed reduced device abuse, fewer malware and data-leak incidents, improved visibility and reporting, lower IT recovery burden, and reduced maintenance costs, with plans to expand the rollout companywide.
