Purple sees daily financing increase of 4%

Purple, a mattress and bedding company, needed to adapt during COVID-19 to help more customers access products and quickly launched a financing option even though they lacked data on who would use it. Their challenge was understanding which visitors would benefit from financing, how device and journey differences affected purchases, and which product bundles drove higher order value.

Using Heap combined with Shopify data, Purple created event snapshots and segments (e.g., financing users, mobile vs. desktop) and tracked Line SKU bundle purchases to map customer paths and click behavior. Those insights guided ad placement and page optimizations, improving bundle and conversion performance and increasing daily financing uptake by 4%.
