Workhuman, a SaaS leader in employee recognition, helps organizations build connection and retention through its Social Recognition platform. Tasked with improving the nomination experience, Workhuman wanted to pinpoint where users encountered friction in the multi-step nomination funnel—selecting a recipient, choosing an award reason and value, writing a message, and optionally attaching media—to increase initial engagement and completions.
Using Heap’s Autocapture and Illuminate, Workhuman gained granular visibility into time and effort spent at each funnel step, which guided targeted changes to onboarding and the nomination flow. Those adjustments delivered double-digit increases in flow starts and submissions and higher award redemptions, demonstrating measurable uplift from small UX improvements.
