DISH reboots streaming with innovative B2B offering, using Heap to direct production

Dish, through its streaming product OnStream, needed a better way to understand customer behavior and guide product decisions for its new B2B offering. With limited visibility into its user base and how customers interacted with the site, Dish turned to Heap for analytics after considering other tools.

Dish implemented Heap with support from Heap’s Professional Services team and an implementation consultant, who helped create dashboards, translate business questions into reports, and onboard the team without heavy engineering work. Heap gave Dish granular user-journey insights, including revealing that a new navigation update had little engagement, helping the team pivot before wasting more resources. The result was faster implementation, stronger product strategy, and deeper insights that are now being rolled out across the organization.
