Nueterra Capital, a private equity firm with over 1,500 employees across 40 U.S. offices, needed a better way to manage a benefits package that spanned 10 different vendors. Their small HR team was struggling to keep up with employee questions and support requests, while telemedicine usage was also very low under their previous provider. HealthJoy’s mobile app and connected navigation platform offered a single place for employees to access benefits, telemedicine, and guidance.

HealthJoy replaced Nueterra Capital’s previous telemedicine solution and became the center of its employee benefits experience. The rollout led to rapid adoption, with 516 telemedicine consults in just six weeks compared with only 32 consults in the first six weeks of the prior year, and employees responded positively to the app. HealthJoy also helped streamline support, boost engagement, and deliver savings through improved benefits navigation and cost containment.
