The customer, a non-profitable, non-partisan organization with over 37 million members aged 50 and above, needed to establish an integrated delivery organization for L2/L3 support across about 190 applications and supporting infrastructure (DC, network, EUC) and to ensure 24/7 P1/P2 support. HCL was engaged to provide Integrated Program Management and end-to-end operations and maintenance services.
HCL set up an Integrated Delivery Organization for apps and infrastructure (including DC, mainframe, network and end-user computing), staffed 190+ FTEs with strong onsite presence, and delivered 24/7 L2/L3 support and dedicated capacity for application development. As a result HCL delivered predictable incident resolution, improved end-user satisfaction and generated over $1.2M in savings in the first 10 months through 31 ideas beyond the contract value.
