The leading stock exchange firm in APAC — a World Federation of Exchanges member with £51.7 billion AUM and around 774 listed companies — needed to upgrade its MOSS intranet to SharePoint 2010 to boost collaboration and automate publishing. The customer also required reinstatement of corporate branding in SharePoint, a customized people search for HR, and more efficient content and video publishing. HCL was engaged to deliver the upgrade and Collaboration Services.

HCL implemented the SharePoint 2010 upgrade using QA and PROD environments, built a new development VM, reinstated branding, configured User Profile and Search services, enabled HR image uploads, planned capacity for growth, and added video upload/streaming capabilities. HCL’s solution delivered automated content publishing, an in-built video upload feature and consistent corporate branding, improving operational efficiency and positioning the customer for scalable future growth.
