India's leading entertainment brand, one of India's best‑known media houses, needed to centralize content management and simplify site maintenance across multiple web properties. HCL was engaged to provide application support and maintenance and to roll out a centralized, Drupal‑based CMS and related digital experience services (including Brightcove video integration and Apache recommendation engine support).

HCL implemented a workflow‑based, SOA content distribution system with templates, shared components, custom video player integration and single sign‑on to unify sites and automate encoding/distribution. The solution cut onboarding, web development and management costs by about $50–60K per site, reduced overall support and maintenance overhead, enabled self‑service publishing and faster time‑to‑market, and lowered dependency on software development teams.
