Tier–1 Global TSP, a leading German telecom provider operating across about 14 countries, needed to rapidly scale web and mobile experiences, reduce IT dependence for content management, and accelerate deployment of business‑critical projects. HCL was engaged to deliver a content management and digital experience transformation (HCL TransformedWeb / HCL WCM) to improve customer experience, scalability and integration with back‑end systems.

HCL implemented an offshore development center, built integration frameworks and reusable components, deployed new applications in a WebSphere environment, redesigned checkout and telesales modules, and migrated the commerce catalog — plus mobile and social optimizations. As a result HCL delivered measurable benefits: better consistency in offers, improved self‑service UX, reduced operational costs, an estimated 1,000 additional new customers per day from a postpaid‑style deposit product, and a corporate order management target of USD 1.5 million annual cost reduction.
