The customer, a leading Toronto-based banking services provider with 9,000+ users across Canada, the US and China, engaged HCL to take over and consult on a CA CLARITY PPM v13.0.1 implementation previously managed by another vendor. They faced complex and diverse business process definitions across lines of business, a complicated financial management model, and significant data migration and integration needs to make Clarity the single book of record.
HCL used an iterative onshore/offshore delivery model with facilitated workshops to finalize requirements and build proofs of concept, automated existing financial business rules, extended Clarity Analytics (star schema and ETL), added OLAP cubes, and consolidated 140+ legacy reports into 10 Clarity reports for management. As a result, HCL achieved quicker turnaround times, streamlined processes, enabled historical snapshots and ad‑hoc reporting, and successfully launched Clarity Live for the organization.
