HCL supported a Fortune 500 British multinational pharmaceutical and healthcare company headquartered in Brentford, London that was rolling out a global SAP ECC 6.0 commercial ERP template across 14 European markets. Facing strict pharma regulatory compliance, high defect leakage into UAT, rising testing costs and poor prior testing quality, the client engaged HCL’s SAP Testing Center of Excellence (SAP TCoE) and testing services using tools such as HP‑QC, HP QTP BPT and a risk‑based testing (RBT) approach.

HCL established a centralized TCoE, implemented shift‑left and risk‑based testing, built a reusable SAP component library (214+ components) and used HP QTP BPT accelerators and automation to shorten cycles.
