HCL Helps A Leading US Telecom Player Protect Its Market Share And Maintain High Levels Of Customer Satisfaction

HCL helped a leading US telecom player — a worldwide provider in networking & cloud automation, workflow automation and sustenance engineering — tackle a USD 60M market opportunity. The customer needed to protect its enterprise market share and maintain high customer satisfaction by providing a migration path for its existing CU in the mobile routing space, so it engaged HCL for end-to-end engineering and product development support.

HCL took complete ownership of the customer’s engineering services, deploying 45+ SW and HW engineers and delivering integrated design, thermal analysis, MDVT, testing, prototyping and HW/SW development to build alternate products and align launches with end-of-support timelines. The engagement produced measurable impact: time-to-market from EC to FCS in a record 13 months, reduced R&D and thermal material costs, improved router and sorting throughput, averted procurement delays, and preserved the customer’s market position — all driven by HCL’s ongoing collaboration since 2011.
