HCL partnered with a leading EMR provider that sought to monetize its vast data by selling it for predictive modeling and on-demand business intelligence. The customer faced significant challenges including siloed and non-integrated datamarts, inconsistent data refresh cycles, data quality issues, and heavy usage of its existing clinical, claims, and prescription data stores.

HCL implemented a comprehensive data warehousing solution that combined data from 11 different categories, creating a scalable and adaptable platform. The solution included enforcing data encryption, ETL mapping, data transformation, and the creation of data marts. This enabled the client to establish a new $100 million line of business, warehouse the records of 42 million patients, and centralize access to 35 TB of clinical, claims, and Rx data.
