HCL Enables US Based Law Information And Medical Journal Publisher Consolidate Business Processes

A US-based provider of law information and a medical journal publisher faced fragmented project-management processes, inadequate tools and limited portfolio visibility across divisions and geographies. To address this, HCL deployed HP PPM (versions 7.1–9.12) with Demand, Project, Financial, Resource, Portfolio and Program Management modules during a 5+ year engagement supporting ~2,000 users across the US, UK and India.

HCL implemented an integrated project-management command-and-control infrastructure, linking HP PPM to Oracle Project Accounting and GL, standardizing demand/resource workflows, enabling portfolio “what-if” modelling and delivering consolidated reporting and forecasted project financials. The outcome was a single PPM platform across business units, improved senior-management visibility, better resource utilization, standardized financial reporting and higher service quality—validated by broad adoption and a customer satisfaction score of 6.43/7.
