HCL Enables Multichannel Order Management For Greater Customer Experiences And Sales

The client, one of the leading specialty retailers for fashionable women's clothing with 1,025 stores across the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada, struggled with decentralized inventory, frequent e‑commerce fulfillment stockouts, unsold distressed store inventory, fragmented integrations and inconsistent omnichannel customer experiences. HCL was engaged to address these challenges and implemented Manhattan Associates Distributed Order Management and Global Inventory Visibility modules along with store‑fulfillment capabilities.

HCL delivered a multichannel order‑management solution—deploying Manhattan Associates DOM and Global Inventory Visibility, a robust store fulfillment module for 750+ stores, and a scalable integration framework using Sterling Commerce and SAP PI—plus regression testing and an end‑to‑end architecture blueprint. The outcome included real‑time stock visibility, multi‑channel fulfillment 50% faster than projected that exceeded revenue targets, improved cross‑channel sell‑through, expanded margins and standardized SOPs enabling stores to fulfill large volumes.
