HCL worked with a leading global transport provider that was facing inefficient, manual recruiting processes and poor integration with its HR application, which made tracking recruitment difficult. HCL implemented Oracle Taleo (Taleo 15A.3) for recruiting, onboarding and reporting, leveraging the client’s PeopleSoft HR investment to address these challenges.

HCL built seamless bidirectional interfaces between Taleo and PeopleSoft, created a custom new‑hire data page, scheduled transfers of requisitions/users/OLF with HTML formatting and error logs, and enabled external/mobile job applications. The solution delivered measurable results: quality of hire improved by 33%, time to productivity fell by 28%, process efficiency rose by 18%, and full outbound/inbound PeopleSoft–Taleo integration and role‑based access were achieved.
