A HCL Case Study
The client, a global leader in flash memory storage solutions and the world’s third‑largest manufacturer of flash memory products, needed to modernize web authoring and publishing, implement a digital asset management (DAM) solution, support localization and personalization, and tighten content governance. HCL was engaged to address these challenges and used its Customer Experience Platform (CEP) approach, leveraging Adobe AEM 6.0 and related services to build a cloud-ready Web Content Management and DAM platform.
HCL implemented CEP with AEM 6.0, Google Analytics, Apache Dispatcher and Akamai, delivered marketing and microsite templates, custom migration scripts, workflows, tag‑based personalization, metadata and reporting, and a responsive UX. As a result HCL consolidated the database into AEM, gave business teams greater control of content, enabled mobile‑optimized sites and personalization, improved site performance and scalability, reduced dependency on legacy systems and third‑party support, and generated asset‑download and usage reports to track impact.
