HCL worked with an APAC-based petrochemical giant — a national oil and gas company in South East Asia — that needed to establish an Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) to standardize governance, processes and tools and improve program delivery. To meet these objectives, HCL introduced an integrated EPMO solution and implemented Microsoft EPM 2010 alongside organizational change and training services.

HCL deployed its ExACT EPMO framework, standardized 18 processes, migrated 1,000+ projects, transitioned 500+ projects, trained 400+ stakeholders and set up a Training Academy, while building reporting dashboards and governance. As a result, HCL enabled enterprise visibility and executive decision-making, helped the customer move to EPMO maturity level 4, and delivered up to ~35% improvement in project-management productivity with better on‑time, on‑budget execution.
