How Heineken decreased Time to Hire by 42% and assessed 13.5k candidates in 8 days

Heineken, a global brewer recruiting for its International Graduate Programme, faced a massive hiring challenge: assessing roughly 17,000 applicants from 161 countries for 22 roles across five tracks within an eight-day window while identifying high‑potential candidates, handling global volume, and reducing time‑to‑hire. To meet these goals the company selected Harver’s cloud-based assessment platform to replace manual preselection and standardize a data‑driven candidate experience.

Using Harver, Heineken launched a custom online assessment combining video content, gamified tests, SJTs, an English test and video interviews, enabling automated preselection and richer candidate data.
