Heineken, a global brewer recruiting for its International Graduate Programme, faced a massive hiring challenge: assessing roughly 17,000 applicants from 161 countries for 22 roles across five tracks within an eight-day window while identifying high‑potential candidates, handling global volume, and reducing time‑to‑hire. To meet these goals the company selected Harver’s cloud-based assessment platform to replace manual preselection and standardize a data‑driven candidate experience.
Using Harver, Heineken launched a custom online assessment combining video content, gamified tests, SJTs, an English test and video interviews, enabling automated preselection and richer candidate data. The result: 13,500 candidates completed assessments in 8 days (78% completion) with a three‑person recruitment team, Time to Hire dropped by 42% (process shortened to 11 weeks from 20), cost per hire fell 35%, and 22 graduates were selected—demonstrating Harver’s impact on speed, scale and hiring quality.
