How Haptik Redefined Customer Engagement For BankBazaar

bankbazaar.com, a Chennai-based online financial marketplace, needed to engage financially savvy, premium millennial customers and build top-of-mind recall during the busy Jan–Mar acquisition season. To cut through the clutter on major news apps (TOI and ET) they partnered with Haptik and used Haptik’s Concierge Bot to deliver an interactive, education-first experience.

Haptik built and integrated a Direct-to-Consumer chatbot called "The Finance Shop" via SDK on TOI and ET, offering goal-setting, saving tips, reminders and in-bot journeys that directed users to bankbazaar.com. The campaign reached 200,000 unique users, averaged 2.4 minutes and 3–4 message interactions per user, achieved 96% automation, redirected 28% of interacting users to bankbazaar.com and drove a 17% increase in purchase consideration with a higher-intent lead mix (59% salaried professionals).
