Telus needed to modernize its costly, complex legacy service management environment to support new services without disrupting existing ones. Working with Hansen Technologies, the operator sought a more flexible OSS foundation that could reduce time-to-market, scale across multiple networks, and support a wide range of mobile services and devices.

Hansen Technologies implemented Hansen Provision as a common OSS architecture, information model, and integration framework for Telus. The solution enabled TELUS to build a service once and deploy it across multiple networks, automate provisioning and activation, and support new offerings such as video, roaming, premium content, location-based services, and MVNO integration. The results included support for more than seven million subscribers, a 50% reduction in provisioning errors from 2% to 1%, and lower call-center volumes, improving customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
