Room Booking Solution in Telia’s New Office

Telia, the telecommunications company, needed a room booking solution for its new activity-based headquarters in which more than 800 employees work without fixed desks or personal cabinets. To support private and confidential meetings, Telia turned to Hansab for an on-site booking solution that would work seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook and room-mounted touch screens.

Hansab implemented a room booking system that lets employees reserve meeting rooms through Outlook or directly on touch screens outside each room, with real-time status shown via LED lights and the ability to release rooms early if meetings end sooner. Hansab also provided a touch-screen registration solution in the lobby. The result was better visibility into room availability and fully synchronized bookings across channels, helping employees quickly find and reserve a free room even without a laptop.
