Nuun, a Seattle-based leader in sports hydration that sells electrolyte tablets to chain and specialty retailers, was struggling with a fragmented, manual ordering process as it scaled. Orders arrived by email, PDF, and spreadsheets and had to be re-entered into NetSuite, causing errors, backorders, long fulfillment times and time-consuming back-and-forth with reps and buyers.

Nuun implemented Handshake Rep and Handshake Direct Online, completed onboarding and targeted rep training, and enforced new ordering policies (including making app use a commission condition) while driving customer adoption with invites and email marketing. The result: one unified backend with real-time inventory, elimination of manual re-entry and order delays, NetSuite integration that cut shipping from under 24 hours to about 10 minutes, near-100% rep adoption and higher average order value and order frequency.
