Ashley Leatherland, an independent sales rep for major stationery brands who co-founded the Stephanie Dyment greeting-card line, was hampered by paper order forms and manual re-entry of customer and SKU data. Needing a simple, cloud-ready solution that worked remotely and tied into their Xero accounting system, they sought a way to streamline order capture across shows and multiple manufacturers.

They implemented Handshake’s mobile order app with its off-the-shelf Xero integration, configured with Handshake’s implementation team to control customer sync and order status rules. Orders now flow directly from the app into Xero and the warehouse, trigger immediate email confirmations, eliminate double entry, speed order-taking at trade shows, and give the Leatherlands a scalable foundation to grow Stephanie Dyment.
