Caspari, founded in 1945, is a high-end paper and gift brand sold worldwide in stores like Harrods and Bloomingdale’s, with more than 6,000 SKUs, nearly 8,000 customers and a field force of 60+ sales reps. The company needed to replace a highly customized legacy mobile order-entry system and find an iOS solution that could handle its scale and give reps easy, reliable access to customer and product data.
Handshake delivered a mobile-first iOS order-entry app with intuitive offline functionality, barcode scanning and easy-to-use UI, and worked with Caspari to build a bi-directional AS400 integration via Handshake’s REST APIs. The rollout improved rep productivity and customer appointments, simplified back-office operations, and earned strong adoption and praise from Caspari’s national sales force.
